Whirlpool uses horrible paint, and the drum/cover will soon rust out ruining all your whites. Beware!
It fits!
My medium sized washer and dryer broke. The new washer driers apparently only come large (27 in. wide) or super large. The only other washer and drier stackable set besides this Thin Twin that would fit through my small laundry room doorway cost over $2000. Two weeks of no washer-drier and running to the laundrimat and now this little laundry center is a real gem. I may have to do an extra load here and there but there is a big difference between doing laundry at home and having to cart it out of the house. Appliance manufacturers take note- many of us live in modest townhouses and condos!
Too small
If you want to wash or dry a towel a time, it is ok. If you want to wash or dry two towels at a time... forget about buying this unit, because they will not fit.
